Handling Fossils

2017. This project was a collaboration with Clogh Writers, Kilkenny. The project focused on the complex subterranean landscape in this ex-coal mining area and was supported by the Arts Council and Kilkenny Arts Office. Handling Fossils culminated in an hour-long, live presentation of our work in March ‘17 at the Community Hall in Clogh. Over the evening, words and moving-image worked in tandem; hinging around ideas of deep time and stratified remains which underpinned the project.

These images describe the installation and staging of Handling Fossils, including an image of a local fossil display, which was assembled for the evening.
