how we float

Duration: 7 minutes. 2014. Made in response to a boat cove in Co. Waterford, Ireland. The cove has been the centre of a small inshore fishing community for many generations – the film plays with abstract devices in reflecting the rhythms and patterns associated with the space. This moving-image work was made in response to this site.

(Supported through an ArtLinks bursary. The final two images are from an outdoor screening of How we Float.)
